Week Three Challenge: Embellishing Paper Mache Prints

This weeks Art Challenge is to embellish the paper mache prints I made last week. At least one a day, for at least 5 days this week.

I've been planning on trying Gold Leafing (with the imitation gold from Mona Lisa) on a second Owl's Roost print. (see photo above)

I think it came out great. Was my first metal leafing and I have to say that was a lot of fun. Though I have little gold bits all over the rug, my clothes and stuck to the table... but it was worth it. I'm sure there is some way to avoid all that but for now I can live with it :)

Of course, now I have to go out and get copper and silver leafing too. Thank goodness for coupons.
